For all those moments you celebrate in life…

Schooldays are traditionally marked by distinct watershed occasions, including First Communion and Confirmation. These occasions may define specific moments for children and passages of time in the child’s journey through school.  In some situations and for varying reasons the family may decide against having their child partake in religious ceremonies. Indeed there are times when the child themselves expresses a preference to withdraw from those formal occasions. There is a growing trend to mark the traditional moments in childhood in an alternative manner.  On these occasions the family will continue to observe a defining moment in the child’s growth, whilst the child doesn’t feel ‘left out’ when their friends are involved in the traditional celebrations. I believe there are countless ways to mark the occasion, with readings, enhancements and celebrations. This is a unique opportunity to mark time, to celebrate those watershed moments in your child’s life.  Between Ourselves we can decide on the ceremony for you and your child to mark the occasion.
