About Me

I am a semi-retired Mental Health Nurse Manager, with 35 years of experience working in various roles within mental health services. The vast majority of my experience is in the Irish National Forensic Mental Health Service, based at the Central Mental Hospital in Dundrum in South Dublin.

Since my retirement from full time employment in February 2018 I have worked as Independent Chairman on Interview Boards, and now work part time in a Specialist Recovery Unit in North County Dublin. Recently I have qualified as a Professional Ethical Celebrant with the Irish Institute of Celebrants, and I am currently developing this qualification into a business venture. The business, ‘Between Ourselves Celebrancy’ offers you a bespoke, personalised service for all of those moments you celebrate in life.
